I made a prototype program that is a cluster version of OpenPKSD for the future. This system is made for experimental system not for daily use. I wanted to show the load map to the huge system of OpenPGP public keyserver (a.k.a Public Key Infrastructure) . I estimate the cluster version of OpenPKSD can handle 1,000,000,000 with 42 machines, I mean 1 U x 42 = 1 rack. Because I haven't 42 nodes, I tested it with only 5 nodes. I think it's OK for me because I can show the way to huge system. And I'm wondering who want to have 42 nodes for today's OpenPGP public keyserver service.

OpenPKSD HKP Balancer is usable not only huge cluster nodes but also several nodes. For example, a set of blade serever is good for OpenPKSD nodes. But I realize that PoetgreSQL server process should have ran under one machine, as below;

If database contents have split and haveput it on some servers, it is soooo
hard to backup database contents and recover from system crush. When I
tested OpenPKSD cluster, this problem always bugged me.
All source codes are GPL licensed but I will not make a distribution package
for it because there are many useless codes. Some technique will apply
to OpenPKSD distribution packaged that is distributed at this page. It will be appear at next April or May.
